In the past few years, we have covered a bunch of heated mugs that can keep your drink warm. The THERMA Coaster takes it to the next level. It can heat and cool your drink. It can keep your drink around 60C or 5C depending what you are drinking. It doesn’t make a whole lot of noise and works with a variety of cups. This coaster has a metal plate for fast heating and active cooling.
This coaster has a OLED display that shows you the current temperature. The makers have pulled this off with a quiet fan, heatsink, and TEC module. This model has automatically shuts off after 8 hours. You can find this project on Kickstarter.
